How to reset your monitor settings in Fedora 10:
- Boot Machine
- Press CTRL+ALT+F3 to get to your CLI Login (command prompt)
- Login as Root
- Find your User Folder under /home
- Look for the file /home/{user}/.config/monitors.xml
- Either edit the file to correct your problem, or rename it to something like monitors.xml-OLD
- Press CTRL+ALT+F1 to return to the GUI Login
